DFDS breakfast review

DFDS Breakfast Review: DFDS offers a breakfast buffet on their ferries, and overall, it's a decent way to start the day while traveling. The selection is quite varied, featuring both continental and hot breakfast options. You'll find scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, baked beans, and toast, as well as cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, fruit, and pastries. There's also coffee, tea, and juice available.

Our DFDS breakfast experience:

The quality of the food is generally good, though not exceptional. The hot items can sometimes sit a bit too long under the heat lamps, making them slightly dry. However, the bread and pastries are usually fresh, and the fruit selection is a nice touch.

One of the biggest advantages of the DFDS breakfast is convenience. If you have an early start or want to avoid searching for food after disembarking, it's a great option. The price is reasonable for a buffet at sea, though it might feel a bit steep if you're only after a light meal.

Service is efficient, and the dining area is clean and comfortable, with large windows offering nice sea views. It can get busy during peak times, but the staff generally keeps things running smoothly.

Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
A solid breakfast option with a good variety, though some hot items can be a bit hit or miss. Worth it for the convenience and sea views!
